I bought this a month ago for my daughters to make their smoothies, protein shakes & Iced Coffee drinks. It goes without saying they were spending a boatload at the local coffee shop. I have to say, it not only meet our expectations but exceeded them. Great buy ! We love it !

I bought this blender couple of weeks ago, so far so good, it working beyond my expectation. I am from Nigeria in Africa, we eat tomatoes and red pepper sauce a lot, this blender blends so smoothly that makes me remember nigeria by giving me great consistency.
Although, it is pricey but it worth it, I have spent so much buying different cheap blender that get broken after 1 or 2 weeks. So buying this blender is a investment for me. If I see anything negative about this product, I will edit my review.
Also, it is so easy to use. I will definitely recommend this blender.

I purchased this on sale several months ago and love it! There is nothing that it wont chop or blend. Makes great smoothies! I put in whole carrots, etc and it blends them all perfectly! So glad I purchased this.

Cute blender but does not work on ice or frozen

I bought this blender to make coffee smoothies and fruit smoothies. When I put two cups ice &1 1/4 cup cold coffee in blender, it worked terrible. It made grinding noises on the pulse and I had to use a spatula to get it to move in blender. After that, the high speed blend did not work much better. Fruit smoothies were a bit better but not great. Going back. My old Breville puts this blender to shame.

The first thing I noticed about this blender is how large the base is compared to my older KitchenAid KSB565 blender. There's a reason for that...this blender delivers 2.40 HP at the pitcher where the older one gives 0.9 HP. Quite an upgrade!
I wasn't sure the unit was all that attractive, given the somewhat clunky-looking, large base, but isn't all that power worth it? Besides, it looks kind of retro, and who doesn't like retro? The only thing I regret is that I wasn't able to get the blender in red, because all my other KitchenAid countertop appliances are red and I would rather they matched, but again, no biggie.
When making hummus, I throw in all the ingredients at once, including chickpeas, gooey, lumpy tahini, fresh ginger root and whole Serrano peppers. Just a few pulses and the mixture was completely puréed, even the ginger and peppers. The blender didn't shake or wobble when run at higher speeds, which really wasn't necessary but I wanted to try it. The result was a very smooth mixture, not grainy, that pairs wonderfully with pita chips or crackers. My next project will be to make frozen bellinis, and I have no doubt that this powerhouse will have no trouble plowing through ice cubes!
